The Father Jack Foundation has been meeting the unmet needs of our less fortunate neighbors in the Muskegon community since 2009. Last year, we assisted 249 individuals/households who otherwise would have fallen through the cracks. We are a totally volunteer organization, from Board members to intake personnel. Requests for our assistance have grown as has our need for volunteers to help process the requests. We need volunteers to continue to do the good work of the foundation.
Our governing board is also in need of additional members, we are seeking persons of faith, who share our desire to help those in need. The FJF Organization strives to support and promote excellence in board service and is the premier source of cutting-edge thinking and resources related to nonprofit board recruitment. Our board members champion the importance of exceptional board leadership and believe that each and every organization needs a strong and effective board to fully realize its potential for good.
The FJF Organization Board of Directors comprises leaders from the nonprofit and the for-profit sector who are dedicated to the organization’s mission. Serving on the FJF Organization Board of Directors is an extraordinary opportunity for an individual who is passionate about strengthening leadership and governance in the nonprofit sector. Board members are expected to attend a monthly board meetings and to come prepared to ask questions and participate in discussions.
